I use to love those pop-up books when I was a kid. Even though I immediately dissected them to see how they worked, there seemed to be some magic to the whole idea.

Two of the kid's drawings lying on the table are done by my nieces. They live across an ocean, but my brother attached their pictures to an email just as I was finishing up this piece. I added them in, but Ashleigh and Melanie have never seen the finished animation.
