Bunnies are cute. So are little baby foxes. When you examine this sculpture, however, you will likely be surprised to see that the rabbit has just been killed by mother fox. Without the protein from this natural prey, the babies in the den will starve to death; there is a long cold winter ahead.

As for the lovely winged creature, there is nothing more pure, virtuous and morally sound than an angel. What on earth could she be saying to the fox at this moment?

I find it interesting that we often impose our values onto the natural world. There is no right or wrong in nature - organisms of every variety just do what they do to survive, and it's been that way a few billion years before we came along.

Still, I feel somewhat torn when I look at this little bit of drama.
